outdoor ferret hutches and design ideas.

as title says, im looking for ideas to build a new large ferret hutch.

hope some of ye wouldnt mind putting up a few pics so i can get some ideas.

these will be outdoor hutches and will need to be fairly large,.

This is what i got... works well. The only thing i paid for was the hutch £30. FF Only just seen post above was typing while it posted.

made out of pallets. I am no carpenter for sure lol. But two doors easy access end to end no bloody nooks or crannies I cant get too and easy to clean weighs a bloody ton and took 3 days but

That' mine afore a few coats of stain, all 3 are linked with a rope and a ramp but can be closed off to separate the hob come spring time

That looks great. Plenty of room to keep them active. 

My main concern is the weather where I'm living. It's very exposed on the coast. I used smaller hutches but rather a bigger one for their own wellbeing.

I built mine whats basically a 9x6 aviary, open to the elements and with what was a lovely turfed base. 12 months later there's not a blade of grass left, it's like a swiss cheese and I'm thinking of slabbing it just to stop it looking so shite.

The only thing stopping me is that the stinkers love it, and they are noticably fitter than they were.

That's exactly what I had in mind. Looks a well put together and strong.
