This morning everywhere is frozen solid after a severe frost and the same farmer's after ringing me to tell me there's a Red Deer in his hayshed eating hay. Must be starving. Did you swat the blighter? It would have been a queen, looking to get out and find a nesting place. I'm allergic to wasp stings and destroy them and all wasps at every opportunity.
