New scope

Last night I fitted my new Hawke Airmax scope onto my rimfire, I went back to BKL mounts because I just love em. I went for the 3 - 12 x 50mm, side focus, IR with the AMX reticle.

Now I have been using MTC Mamba Lite scopes for a couple of years and really like them but I keep picking up one of these in my RFD thinking how much I like the reticle so I took the plunge and bought one. I have been down on the range today to zero the outfit and I have to say I am very happy with it, a lovely crisp and clear image, a bit heavier that the Mamba Lite but not so much that it was noticeable and am now thinking of putting one on my Impact.

Unfortunately I ran out of time today as I was hoping to go on one of my perms to run a string of shots out to 110mt to establish holdover positions so that is something to do during next week if the weather is kind.

Excellent scopes Phil - good choice mate

 

They're my faourite. The glass is nice and clear, the AMX reticle works well for me and, I think they're priced well.

 

They work really well with the NS Viper.

there great scopes Phil.. all my rifles are dressed with Hawke's im as happy with the standard 1/2mil as the amx

Took the rifle out today and must confess that I am sold on these scopes, there will be another one going on my Impact for sure.

 

Anyone interested in an MTC Mamba Lite or two...........................
