secretagentmole 1,701 Posted January 12, 2018 Report Share Posted January 12, 2018 Now I have working night vision I decided to have an evening shoot at the permission with the best prospects of a nice result. The first appeared at 5:30pm, and died at about 5:31pm. After that it went a bit dead until 6:40, when another hopped out of the hedgerow and caught a Daystate Heavy in the noggin. I went along the fence in the middle and scanned the far hedgerow, there just out of the edge was a nice rabbit, 50 metres, elevation checked, no wind, fired, it rolled over and I thought it had run back into the hedge, but careful scanning showed a lump where there was no lump before. Checking revealed the rabbit with a nice entry wound between eye and ear! 5 Quote Link to post
