mark williams 7,549
Took my classic combination out for a few hours today. FWB Sport mk1, Tasco 4x40 w/a ( 1978 set up ) Here`s the fixed ret` view as I check zero on a knurl on the tree trunk at 33 yds. Kaiser retrieving from the base of the tree. --- " Gotcha ! " Had to be very careful of trajectory and spindle branches but took two nice plump Greys for the table. Both squirrels were taken with heart / lung shots using F.A.P. - instant despatch ! Both prepared for the pot but I thought I would take the hide of one of them to try and tan it ,- I`ve been watching a good young lad on You tube, " Urban Hunter" - it`s just out of interest and very enjoyable. First hide I cocked up, 2nd hide I took perfectly. ATB Lads, Mark. 6 Quote Link to post

mole trapper 1,646
Nice bit of skinning, squirrels certainly aren't the easiest to do, a fox is easy in comparison. 1 Quote Link to post
