micky 3,325 Posted December 21, 2017 Report Share Posted December 21, 2017 Had a morning out with a lad who was once a very popular member of this Forum , though i have a lot of once good land there is nothing on it and this season has been a total washout , out of the blue the fellah got in touch and asked me if i would like a day out , LIKE A DAY OUT!! I f***ing WELL WOULD LIKE A DAY OUT , on the way there we a a look at a field that borders the property we were going on and there was dozens of rabbits sat out and a few looked like they were bucking ,and it looked to me a Rabbiters paradise, When we started the Rabbits were reluctant to bolt and most had to be dug but a few bolted and Mars [the dog ] had four out of five on ground that would test any dog, at least four of the Rabbits were well in Kittle and all but one were above average size . it was a great morning out with a man and dog who are at the top of their game .
