bigmac 97kt 13,732 Posted January 6, 2018 Author Report Share Posted January 6, 2018 Right lads took the raider to the range to day to put her through her paces got there and i had picked up the wrong pellets left the jumbo heavy,s at home so went back to jsb exacts 15,89 my last one loved them and this one did not let me down hitting targets out to 60mtrs and spinners but when i went to fill her back up she blew all the air out the fill port so iv just stripped the fill port off the air cylinder and the o,ring dose not look that good it dose not sit high enough imo and go,s back into the tube with ease no resistance at all , so ill get another fitted tomorrow and see what she is like then im going to order a full service kit for her i may as well do the lot when im on as she is an old girl atvbjimmy Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,732 Posted January 7, 2018 Author Report Share Posted January 7, 2018 Stripped all the wrap off it this morning put some new wrap on the twink but it had to come off any way so the new seals can be fitted when there hear once i order them where the acid or what ever has hit it is starting to rust now so may be a good sign that its clearing away as before it would not take the bluing so now when its all stripped down im off to my mates John the rfd to get it all stripped back ready for the blueing again using his machines and buffing wheels . im going to strip the stock back as well and see if the black stain has gone into the grain like it did in the hw100 then its going to be stain,d with walnut stain and tru oil,d . Some would say just leave it as is and use it VIZ being one of them but you all know me I JUST CANT lol or i may look into getting her dipped in real tree ? atvbjimmy 1 Quote Link to post

Lovely looking dog, is that a patterdale?(i need a terrier to help me ferret) What are you going to use to protect the sanded barrel n comp tube? Looking really good great stuff. FF No ff its the way my phone takes the pics the stocks come out looking white for some reason lol yep she is a patterdale cross lake land i just lacquer the barrel and comp tube mate ,,,then keep it well oiled did these a good few months ago and still no sign of rust atvbjimmy Quote Link to post
