Phill-W68 547
Hi... Which product is best for cleaning out the barrel on a new air-rifle, I have read that there is usually a film of oil/grease which the manufacturers use to stop the barrel rusting?.. Thankyou... Quote Link to post
mattwhite 1,993
You won't go far wrong with Napier products but make sure it is specifically for inside the barrel pal and finish with dry patches? Quote Link to post
philpot 4,927
Again Napier. Interestingly, I have had a pellet clipping issue on my Impact which is resolved but during a chat with ASI, they said on the Impact, as it only takes approx 30 seconds to remove the barrel, use a cleaning rod not a pull through and use brushes. I bought a kit as I needed one for my rimefire anyway and using the nylon brush, it soon shifts any crap in there then the polishing mop. So fast and effective, suits me instead of messing with pull through wipes. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
