Things don't always go to plan.......

Do you skin them ?

no

i pass them over to bear hunters who hang them in trees for bear bait

bears cant get enough beaver.

also the local councils pay $50 a tail come spring time as the beavers are out of control and cause

so much damage with the dams and trees

Also got a photo of one a couple of years ago on the Cotswold water park, it was not shy and sat outside my mates bivvie for about 20 mins before wandering off surprising what's out there doing  well  right under our noses, just wondering  if a terrier can go into one of those dams, back in the 70,80,s they were crying out for people to dig out those coypu,s on the Norfolk broads doubt it will happen again though we,ve gone all soft, another thing about beavers I heard they contaminate the water they live in with a bacteria I,ve heard Americans refer to it as beaver fever which makes me chuckle , but might not be a laugh if you get it, but like many things they are here so let's see what happens

Doesn't the Beaver carry a parasite that's lethal to humans if swallowed in the water ??

IMO there's not enough thought put into these introductions in Britain because once released there is 100% no chance of a cull no matter what goes wrong. Just look at the fact that Mink Hunting was banned. Says it all. Talk of Lynx now and a Lynx can kill an adult. Wait till the bunny huggers start feeding them and make them not afraid of people.
