Just a bit predictable and pointless. Some of the statements like go whistle and a number of other things, what were they meant to achieve. From my point of view they only served to get peoples backs up, who would then sit across a negotiating table at a point in the future. If the odds are against you, don't march in shouting you're all a shower of c**ts, it gives people common cause.

I just hope the UK government's negotiating skills have improved by the time it comes to making trade deals with other countries because if what we've seen so far is anything to go by the likes of America will have them over a barrel and taking it dry...

Three things I noticed, only barely remember though. Not long after the referendum May went to India, and I think got a lukewarm reception in terms of trade. Trump made made some comment also, but I don't recall what it was. Then of late either Australia or NZ made a fuss within the WTO about agreements getting changed. 

I get the sense others see one being separated from the herd.

I concur, Gentlemen. If that's how you negotiate in 2017 then I'll be watching Anglo-American relations very closely.

I think if folk stop to think, then f***ing the UK over on this vote will be bad for everyone.......because when democracy becomes a nonsense and they are blatantly stitching people up then what do the great unwashed have left?

If the UK is done over not only will the people of the UK see it but the Germans will see it and the Polish and to some extent (dare I say it) even the French......the extreme right will rise and attitudes will harden much further.

Then everyone pays the price.......and it will be a debt they indeed owe.

I remember both India and Australia saying almost straight away that they'd want to see immigration rules for their citizens relaxed as part of any trade deal...

When you bring globalism into the picture, it all makes perfect sense.

Globalism basically is global dictatorship over countries and people's lives, taking choice away, monopolies, no competition and regulate and tax you to death. EU in a nutshell.

Very few leaders of countries today, are not singing this tune. The reason Trump is hated so much is because he's not playing by the expected globalist hymn sheet.

Cameron was one, May is one.

Cameron giving the UK a vote on brexit was nothing exceptional. It just made an opportunity for the country to be screwed more, what we are witnessing now.

Stay = Screwed

Leave = Screwed

Wilf you had a good old sneer about Irelands referendum and how the EU told them to fcuk off home and vote again until the EU got the result it wanted. You also said that Britain was the the only country that would stand up to them. Well little old backward Ireland isn't so little now and has got a say and Britain ( the creator of the modern world)has been told to fcuk off back until it came back with a suitable answer when they could have said no. Oh and bring 50 billion when you do call.

Exactly. If a country has talent it will be bullied and heckled. Smaller countries with less to offer will be supported and made to look like their stronger ie ireland.

I didn't vote but in my defence I had a lot going on with over 20 hours of surgery... Wilfs post sums it up right... The illusion has been shattered

Still, every dog has its day.......today it’s the EU dictatorship........one day, who knows?

At this moment in time, I’m pretty bitter about it and I hope that if our day comes we wreak terrible vengeance on the playground gang.........at this second in time I really wouldn’t care what that entailed.

Will that day ever come?.....probably not in my lifetime.
