This is the first time has caught a bird ... she wasn't quite sure to start with but right in the end ......

..I'd be well happy with that retrieve, liked you holding the other dog off. Nothing more off putting than another dog trying to steal a retrieve.

Yes they can be shot but more often than not when the jukel catches them they get used not dumped up the processing plant atb bunnys

Pheasants are cheap as chips,..but if my dogs ever catch one, I always feel duty bound to Jalfrezi em... :clapper:

I was about to defrost some an throw to the dog might try that,got couple jars of pataks  in the cupboard👍

Go for it, whenever you catch an edible., get that curry pot going,...you know it makes sense...:laugh:
