She doesn't manage her money others invest it for her?  Same as anyone else would do if they had a fortune. Im sure if there is any wrong doing she will intervene. Good to see the republican

Ffs, Panorama says £10,000000 of her majesty's money ended up in an offshore tax haven. Some of it was invested in 'Brighthouse' the notorious high street shop which has often been criticised for expl

That my friends, really is disgusting when it’s people life and time and effort they are stealing ;)

No objection to that. The tax burden always falls on those least able to pay. One of the biggest problems we face is tax avoidance by the corporates and the ultra rich. There will be far fewer jobs available in the coming decades as a new industrial revolution takes hold and computers displace people. Hence talk of a minimum income guarantee for everybody. Excellent, except they are only talking about 5 grand per individual.

I have no objection to a royal family. If you get a bang out of them fine. I do object to every man woman and child paying for their upkeep. Even if it is only 62 pence it's a burden on every man woman and child. It's medieval, ridiculous, that we support one of the richest families on the planet. To me they are a mixed race grooming gang. Phil the greek with his award scheme, war hero Harry the b*****d with his Invictus games,. the late Di with her Aids foundation, their relentless  chairmanship of charities. It's all pretty clumsy spin. They are a grooming gang who after your money:yes:.

What do we get for our money? A sour faced, frowning old bint with very dodgy dress sense who changed her name to disguise her german ancestry. Phil the greek. You can't take him anywhere without him f***ing up. Charlie who wants to be the the tampax of that old sop Bowles. Anne, miserable mistress of Bowles'  ex husband with out= of =control bull terriers. Andrew couldn't even manage to be a trade envoy without being mired in corruption. Idiot had to be taken off the job. Managed to be  photographed with a minor who alleges he raped her. Edward, weak idiot who wears a lot of toy shop medals just like the rest of them, his wife was caught on camera stating what a f****n awful crew she had married into. What a dysfunctional ,workless bunch of  parasites. They are like a line of pedigree dogs interbred to be completely useless

The nub is  that the queen should set an example. My message to her is: At LEAST PAY TAX ON YOUR HANDOUT YOU GREEDY OLD WOMAN!

Anyone here self-employed ? Employing the services of an accountant ?

Do you do so in the hope that he or she will ensure that your tax liabilities will be kept to an absolute minimum ?

That's all these people have done - they just have other avenues open to them, that aren't available to you or I..........

Whether it's tax avoidance, benefit scrounging, private education or whatever you object to, the fault lies with the existence of a faulty system, not those who take advantage of it !

So you "have no objection to a royal family".......

Apart from childish name-calling, obviously !

But surely as head of state she should set an example? She wouldn't miss the money .

This is just the tip of a very corrupt iceberg. I read a report recently which stated that the super rich are now fearful of major insurrection because the gap between them and us is now so great and becoming bigger. Time they paid their taxes.

I don't think you'll find anything factually incorrect in what I've said. I think they are an anachronism, if you value them it's no skin off my nose. I'm genuinely sorry if i've hurt anybody's feelings.

If you'd said that the Queen should have invested in British concerns, I would have agreed with ! If you feel that the monarchy represents the worst excesses of the class system, maybe you'd have a point, certainly one open to debate.

But you do your arguments no favours, and you'll lose a lot of the room, when you resort to calling the Queen silly names, that all I was getting at.

But, to repeat myself, if a system exists whereby you can gain a LEGAL financial advantage, wouldn't you be a fool not to use it ?

(And for the record, I have enormous respect and loyalty to Her Majesty..........but her eldest son is a total tosser ! ;))

Fair points. However I strongly believe the head of state should set an example. Usury is legal as we can see from these payday loan companies, but it's not right. There are lots of other examples. However my dogs are pleading to be walked so I'm off. Lovely frost here. Over and out.

Well they aint going anywhere so f***ing accept it. They have more supporters in favour of our monarchy than the ones who dont like them.

Tbh it amuses me knowing you have to live here with pur queen and seeing her face everytime you put you're hand in you're pocket lol

go watch that video i mentioned.  Its ok its very short and explains what would happen if she didn't get her state purse. It would certainly cost you a lot more.

agree but why do we have a system that allows this  to happen year on year when everyone knows it's abused  and should be changed my own daft opinion is that the wealthy  have more influence in the system .than joe or Jane blogs the tax payers.  It will never change cos fairness ain't going to be forthcoming no matter what political party is in government . Old saying is it's easier to get a penny of a hundred people than a pound of one person.
