Underdog 2,337
and an empty game bag! But what the heck, I had a grand time hunting pheasants but missed them all. As I walked back to the car in the dark I reflected on the days hunting. Especially Jess climbing an oak after a squirrel! I chose a flintlock today because it makes it much more difficult and I like a challenge. U. 4 1 Quote Link to post
toxo 160
What a great hunting companion. I have a young Westie just like that. She was always climbing over the fence to next doors garden so I built a 2ft trellis. She still managed to get past it. I had to watch to find out how she was doing it. She launched herself up the 4ft bit and then hanging on with her claws she managed to get through one of the diamonds in the trellis. She always comes back when called and after getting a smacked arse she goes away wagging her tail saying "didn't hurt" 1 Quote Link to post
Rimfireboy! 1,463
Even if you had nowt in the bag Nathan, it was way better than sitting at home. So many times I come back with an empty bag, I don’t mind, just good to be out and about, as you know anyway. Quote Link to post

To my mind productive time spent All the very best Underdog Quote Link to post
