Chancey

Recommended Posts

Can you elaborate, why would I part with £1000 when I could pay £250 for the same cross and have the same chance of a decent dog.

With you 100% there allan p. I think a 'chancy' pup/litter depends on how much bullshit is told about the parents of certain lines, which sometimes won't even be in the said pups line

Was this some sort of pointless post?

You asked what was meant by 'chancey', I told you.

I don't keep lurchers so I'm alien to the phrase too, but from what I gather, that's what it means.

And probably a sales pitch that puppy peddlers use.

Im ithinking about a sal/grey pup or sapling so was just wondering.

Chancey as I understand it is the breeding is there there’s no certainty in anything but what you make of it your self but I’d like a good price for it or what I think it’s worth to me that’s how I understand chancey.but normally what I’ve seen in the dog world is a dog/pup that’s been run way to soon An way to young so the owner try’s putting the wool over someone’s eyes to get shot of it quickly making them believe they’ve got something good or that will be good

Usually means its from solid working lines both parents proven, said too be chancy a theirs no guarantee,

If you get "ripped off' it's usually as much the buyers fault as the sellers fault takes two too tango, pays too look well into what you buying in
