Hw100 Air Leak

No air loss overnight up to now so hopefully it was just a bit of dirt causing a problem and an empty and refill has cured it......hopefully.

At some point in the near future it may get an A&M cylinder regardless but I will need it before then so thanks for the advice fellas

Si got an A&M cylinder for his at the show last week end

 

and he was on the phone to me yesterday and it was leaking to

 

I think ill keep the old one where it is

 

if it int broken don't fix it

 

But he is just the man to sort it as well mind is SI

Nothing wrong with the A&M cylinders apart from the stupid gauges , i have them on both on my HW 100k's

Ratworks have a far better gauge or you can use the original ends from the standard HW cylinder if you want to

I stripped the 100 last night re set the power and fitted the original hw cylinder, it held air fine with no loss!

I've re fitted the a&m and marked off the pressure so ill see tomorrow... if its dropped ill send it back and go the

new tube with the hw fittings!

as vm said even the new improved gauge isn't as good as the hw!

It's almost like the companies that make these parts don't give a fcuk Si.

I know it works and it's not falling to bits but where has the pride in being a quality supplier gone in this country.

If I filleted a john dory with a teaspoon and sent it to a chef all covered in the fish guts I would expect him to kick it up my arse and go elsewhere?.............and.......back in the room?

the worse thing about what you've just said it the fact that I've come to accept ppl send anything out!

I had the 100 in bits within a week of getting it cos the power was all over the spot.. thought I may as well do it rather than send it back to hc for them to do the same!
