I know I'm risking being putting on trial for heresy here, but I picked one of these up today.......

 

New set of seals, new cylinder probe, cleaned and serviced, doing 30+ shots per cylinder - 30 quid ! Who could say no ?

 

Pushing out AA Field as sweet as you like at nearly 9ft/lb. Ive wanted one for a while, for close range squirrels and let's be honest, it's does it's designated job very well - small game at 20 yards max.

 

My question is this. Bearing in mind that these things can make you walletless very quickly, what is the one, single mod you can recommend ?

My own inclination is for the steel breech, with the longer pellet probe ?

I been wanting a king ratcatcher for while as I understand they already have the steel breech?

But when I was googling online most people seem to mention the steel breech modification first.

There is few people like them on here if you search for old threads,I think it's a case of knowing their limitations.

I certainly will, mate.

I can afford the breech mod.......as I only lashed out £30 on it in the first place !

 

I might scout round for a 2260 barrel, for the extra length, too.

google the owners club website ,it will show u the simplest tune up which puts your power up without spending dollar 1 .If you dont want air just go 88g co2 throwaway cartridge ,screws in the back of the ratcatcher atb
