We lamped hundreds through the summer but one ferreted rabbit is more enjoyable then ten lamped ones. Love the bolting as much today as I did the 1st time I went 35yrs ago now. Also sounds good in woodland for some reason as well?? The bolting and the whoosh of the rabbit leaving the hole makes it all worth while. Know what my kids would say, YOU ARE GETTING SO SAD DAD. I love it when I am staring at the dog and his staring at me in case the other one knows some thing I must admit i do miss a good day out with ferrets and one dog on the chalky warrens locally the sound of rabbit bumping around under ground nothing better on a good crisp morning.
