Got to the permission, checked zero, whilst deciding what to do in the prone position two rabbits appeared from the hedge on the left, and gaily frolicked up the hedgerow. One copped a Daystate Heavy the other belted up the hedge row and froze looking at me, I thought if I cock the gun it will see my hand move and leg it, slowly I cocked the gun, still sat there, I thought lowering my face will make it run, nope, still sat there, then it caught a Daystate and rolled over!

 

Nothing else was about and I soon saw why, two cauliflower head mixo victims ran out, were shot and ditched. In the yard by the barn I spotted a nice kit, well I thought it was kit, it ran, froze, then did the final kick after catching a nicely placed pellet!

Bit of mixi about for sure ATM. Bloody vile disease, hopefully won't hit them to hard before the season gets under way properly.
