Titan Bearcat

Recommended Posts

Hi, my name is Louis and I enjoy hunting both with fire arms and air rifles.

I prefer air rifles to be honest, as I find them more accessible and less dangerous.

My collection consists of: BSA Sptifire, Firebird, Ultra, Superten. All blueprinted by John Bowkett last December.

And a fac FX Bobcat in .25 :-)

I also have a 12 gauge Merkel over and under, and a .308 Heym stutzen.

I'd actually like to ask if someone has experiences with the Titan Bearcat?

It looks like a lovely little gun, and I've heard that they are well made (JB design, need we know more).

I am looking for one, but they seem to be difficult to find; probably most are in collections now, or somewhere in an attic.

Many thanks for looking,

With kind regards, Louis

Ps. Photo: target practice with my .22 Ultra

Hi Louis,

I've never tried a Titan but, from what I understand, they were the forerunner to Falcon - the breech configuration looks very similar.

If my FN12 is anything to go by, it'll be a brilliant rifle - very well made, yet simple.

I reckon you're right about Bearcats being in peoples collections - you'll probably be searching for a while.

Good luck

On a serious note. For a change. I think, and it's a big think, Falcon was originally titan back in the day. I'll look at images after this but the bear cat had a right sexual trigger blade and like Jon points out, FN upper.
