I've heard a few old sayings but this one has me questioning it. Rabbit and sheep dont mix...... I live on the edge of a sheep farm which I'm told used to be moving with bunnys but there are literly no rabbits there anymore? Any ideas or is the saying true? Cheers

I think the saying means rabbits and sheep are not good together as rabbits eat alot of the grazing. It doesn't mean rabbits will stray away from areas heavy with livestock as one farm I have permission on is a sheep farm and it's my best spot for bunnys

6 rabbits eat enough grass to fill 2 Olympic pools or London buses but not enough to fill 5 Wembley stabiums. I think that clears that up!

If you take more than you need, you will starve your children; aboriginal saying I heard somewhere (or words to that effect)

Old Lancashire saying;
If your are not in by t'time street lamps come on, thy locked out with a belt; my mum circa 1986 :laugh:
