Prepared And Ready But For One Thing, Which Rifle ?

Recommended Posts

Ready to go for tomorrow`s pigeon decoying lads but I`m in two minds as to which gun to take.

I`ve given myself two choices, :hmm:

1, The HW 100 KT .177 ?

or

2, The old 1978 FWB Sport mk1 127 (.22) springer wearing a Tasco 4x40 w/a of the same period ?

Cast your votes lads and I`ll follow. :good:

It depends how you're feeling mate ......

If you're on top form and up for the challenge - take the FWB.

If you fancy some clinical accuracy - take the 100.

Personally, I'd take the 100 - there's nothing better

Good hunting mate

Walshies a good 'un Si - he understands that you go FAC if your fieldcraft is shite :whistling:

And, if you're not allowed toys, you buy dogs and a shovel :o:lol:

I like a challenge Dave, it`s fun and it tests your abilities to getting close and unseen, enticing wild pigeons to land within 35 yds of you, with cradled dead birds - proper field craft ! ( here we go from the know nowt`s )

BOOM ! BOOM! shot guns is simply " proximity shooting" and empties the land immediately - crap !

687 multi choke Sporter by the way, far better than the 686 silver pigeon :tongue2::laugh:

Now then Phil

Who mentioned my shot guns are for sale and no good ?

I like a challenge when shooting.

I love to get "tested" and sub/12 air rifles, I feel, give your shooting skills/ field craft that test.
