my mate text me tonight to see if I wanted to go rat bashing... so we opted for a 7.30 meet up!

we both took our prosports both .177 and pcp n/v setups.

while un packing the van one of the farm hands asked if we'd leave him a couple of rabbits on his car

roof for the dog so I said yeah.. so we had a mooch about the field behind the main farm!

there was a pretty snide comment on marks fac post regarding springers and ranges... so heres some more bs

this is my rabbit shot off the knee at 59 yrd, my mate said laze him for an accurate distance!

he didn't pick the rabbit up as he said you want to see this :icon_eek:

as it dropped....... sorry moxy this isn't just for gore purposes its to show what a springer will do at bs ranges!

this is a daystate ft heavy hitting home

the next shot was my mates and he had a good rest and knew he could pull it off resting on the bail,

the rabbit didn't have a clue we were there so I lazed it before.. its just in the scrub border!

I tried to take a photo through the rf but it was a pain so I gave up... it was 80yrd

camera shy :)

I take my hat off to both of you Si, a springer at that range, way beyond me I think. Mind you, I think any range will be beyond me at the moment as I have been using the shotgun extensively on pigeon and it is always the case when I switch from one to the other, I have to find the 'feel' of the gun again.

Found a fantastic warren on the new perm tonight so I had better get my eye back in again.
