Shaggy Ink Caps

Picked a handful and a few big mushrooms added a few chillies toms herbs and sweet peppers out the garden , chopped some garlic and a red onion , a dash of me chilli oil , a bit of spicey cauliflowerand knocked a bit of fodder for tea as rain stopped the BBQ coming out

haha I'm still here bud lol few more coming thru il pick them last thing and straight in the pan

Didn't know they was edible

cooked and eaten within and hour or so of picking , and pick before the cap begins to leave the stem , not a strong taste more delicte but nice all the same :thumbs:

Yup, they are lovely. Eat before they go dark.

 

picked a few and had them in a pan within 10 mins of butter n garlic , bit if black pepper and served up with parley they were very tasty fodder

Drove past knebworth house today,could see loads of field mushrooms,more than I ever seen before, was half tempted to pull lorry over on hard shoulder and jump the fence lol
