[bANNED TEXT] went wrong

Nothing wrong with those carrots, no matter what shape they are they will taste 100% better than shop bought ones. Not one bit of the dreaded carrot fly showing. Well done!!

Some times it can be stoney ground, but most to the time it's to fertile for the carrots in the ground they are planted in, and that makes them grow on the surface and grow extra roots rather than push down the get nuitrients they need. They still taste the same no matter what they look like, they just peel better if they are straight.

Sussex. I'll have a look when I get back from Hols. Some good honest pics are the order of the day. I'm not looking forward to the number of courgettes I'll be cutting and I know the caulis and broccoli were all coming along nicely. Sunday morning will tell a story. Jok.

Don't peel them just a light scrub to get the dirt off and in the steamer.
