I Have Got Myself A Nikon

I have been using a Canon SX40 bridge camera for the last 6 years & I got up today & decided I would get myself a more current bridge camera so I got a Nikon B700

 

Its a cracking little camera for a novice.like me , well chuffed with it for everyday use .... I have just taken a few tonight post-3174-0-62192700-1499549951_thumb.jpg

That's what I have, I agree for a novice they are pretty good although I find using the viewfinder very hard since it's so small.

 

For most situations it's a very good camera although for bird photography I think that only a DSLR and high quality lense is going to make me happy but I can't complain, I have seen many things I wouldn't have seen thanks to the Nikon :thumbs:

 

If you get any good tips let me know lol, I did buy a PDF guide which I'll send you....see if you can also view it

The only thing I dislike with these bridge superzoom cameras is the images seem to have been '' smoothed'' in the camera , like a beautifying filter thing but other than that there all I need for my level , I wont ever advance simply because I am lazy & I just point & shoot , so an all singing set up would be wasted on me :laugh:

Ha ha I am also lazy but I would like to be able to take amazing pics as well, I find if you take enough of them you will get a few good uns but my ratio is not impressive lol
