Jess Marks The Fox.

Recommended Posts

Had not been on the ground an hour and found sign!

Jess and me settled in a favourite crossing point of fox's and badgers to sit it out as dusk approached.

In the half light it was Jess that spotted Charlie first and she stayed put encouraged by my whispers.

This is her watching.

I got the rifle to bare and at a good sixty yards Charlie stopped and took a round.

Jess immediately responded and attended to the fox with extreme prejudice!

The fox is off pheasant now!

That a touch of mange on the side or is it just the photo ?.

He was ok, just scruffy, like his brother the other week!

They keep dropping them here!

thats good news the pups found a dead fox in the woods last week and started rolling on it , they got a good wash when they got home as i wasnt sure if it had mange or was just rotting away
