Hw110 Pellet Preference

Recommended Posts

Hi Phil I've got a couple of farms but the range is in the back garden shooting off the kitchen island out the patio doors 25yds, and to get 35 yards it's sat near the front door through the house and to the back garden. Obviously when I'm on my own in the house! I will pop down to Crawford's with it sometime when you are going to be there if you like, let me know.

Welcome to the forum   Like Mark said ,clean the barrel first   Mine is not pellet fussy at all AA fields /JSB Exact 8.4 gr 4.51 , AA express / JSB express , JSB Heavies 10.3 gr , JSB FT exac

And yet his groups well with the Weihrauch magnums, which of course are exactly the same pellet as good old Bisley magnums, produced by the venerable H&N factory.

But you love me all the same   Phil

If your free Saturday sometime Phil I might pop over to Crawfords and let you have a look at the 110, I'm sure you know far more than me about air rifles!

Cheers Pete.

Very nice to meet up with you today Pete and I can see why Mitch is raving about the HW110, very slick indeed. So pleased to meet your father in law who turned out to be the brother of my good old friend Geoff. It is a small world and I was trying to work out how long ago it was that I last saw Graham and think it must be over 20 years at the very least and it has prompted me to get in touch with Geoff later tonight if I remember when I get back from clay shooting.

All the best and stay in touch and perhaps we can get both Geoff and Graham along with yourself over to Melrose one Tuesday evening for a bash at a few clays.

Best regards

Phil

Feelings mutual Phil thanks for your great advice much appreciated, as you can see Graham is struggling with his breathing but yes it would be great to get together for some clays and we will certainly keep in touch.

Cheers Pete.

My HW110 loves JSB heavies, although it does put it on the limit of sub 12ft lb. The H&N Barracuda 8 also works well for a lighter pellet and keeps it well within limits. 👍

Welcome aboard Steve, I wondered why this old thread has showed itself again. Get involved and join in with us on here.
