walshie 2,804
I finally did it and paid the £3 extra to go coterm. I only posted my application on 6th and already had the visit. Nice to see some forces getting up to speed with the process. Reckons I should have my tickets in 2 weeks, way before my old ones run out. Quote Link to post
Welsh_red 4,296
Mate of mine took over a year to get a shotgun license . Absolutely mental time Quote Link to post
walshie 2,804
My son got his coterm in about 5 weeks recently too. Seems Dyfed-Powys have caught up with the backlog now. Quote Link to post
Baldcoot 2,352
Its good to hear ,mine took 6 days ,from visit to ticket which was nice hopefully renewal will be just as simple in 2 years time Quote Link to post

walshie 2,804
dyfed powys seem pretty quick as a rule. What is coterm ? It's when your SGC and FAC run out at the same time. You can only do it on FAC renewal though, not the other way round. You lose whatever's left to run on your SGC but it's only £3 more than the cost of renewing your FAC. One load of forms every 5 years instead of 2. Quote Link to post
