i went early this morning 6 30 try the first feed i set up about 12 decoys 1/2 on the grass track 1/2 edge of the wheat field were they have been feeding got my first pigeon about 8 o,clock then steady away till 11,oclock then a pair of buzzards came and not a bird in sight finished with 12 woodys 3 jackdaws just about keeping my eye in .

I have retired him after today it was painful watching him . he is old and he looked old today.i.am gutted no pigeon dog now

Thats a pitty but better doing it now than have him getting in any pain or worse by working him if you think he's not up to it pal
Hopefully youl be able to get a decent dog to replace him

Just got back from one of the perms you got for me on monday pal, i got about 25 crows/ jackdaws, couldnt retrive a single one as they were in a row of trees with a fence on either side and a beck running through,
(the trees in the field by the railway lines)
Its a great place les cheers pal.
