CRAZYHORSE 2,647
barn owls and short eared owls both hunt in the daytime, field voles are more active in the daytime in winter..they usually start hunting late afternoon.

Squeamish5 309
That first marsh harrier pic looks like an Antony Gormley. I know I keep saying this, but am so very grateful to you people who bring/ post these fantastic images. I'm def more of a spectator than a participant in the nature world, so really appreciate opportunity to see what you see. Fanx

Got a few barn owls hunting regularly in the day time here, and shorties, and a pair of long eared....all in daylight great to see Long eared are on the incease where I live in Northumberland, and a guy I have heard of in Durham, who specialises in locating long eared owls has found 30 nests this year..
