I had a bit of a sort out of my photos taken in May. It was a busy month with a few really good outings and still loads to go through. Here is a mix of what I saw and took photos some local in Surrey and some in Kent.

June has not been good so far but will be working on it over the weekend. Enjoy and have a great weekend with whatever you are up to.

That first marsh harrier pic looks like an Antony Gormley.

I know I keep saying this, but am so very grateful to you people who bring/ post these fantastic images.

I'm def more of a spectator than a participant in the nature world, so really appreciate opportunity to see what you see.

Very nice mate , is it usual for the owl to be hunting in the daylight ?.

Got a few barn owls hunting regularly in the day time here, and shorties, and a pair of long eared....all in daylight great to see

Long eared are on the incease where I live in Northumberland, and a guy I have heard of in Durham, who specialises in locating long eared owls has found 30 nests this year..
