Lightening The Kral Stock

Well set about lightening the stock on the kral

 

as it was to dark for my liking to much of the grain was hided

 

so popped her into a warm bath with loads of soap suds too remove the oil

 

then when she was dry i wet and dry,d her down leaving some of the dark in her as i went

And now with the oil on her the pics do not do her justice

 

she is a lot lighter than the pics show lads ,

 

This oil will be left for an hour then wipped of and buffed then left until tomorrow morning to dry

 

before fitting it back into the action

PS,,,and yes Jon she will be coming with me to the meet and so will the DS

Personally, I'd happily pay a few quid more a premium bit of timber on a rifle.

Selling that Merlyn was a tough decision mate ..... I've had a few Daystates and, I've always said that the older ones are the best ones :yes::thumbs:

As usual Jimmy that is looking rather nice BUT I thought you were supposed to be taking it a bit easier mate, don't go and knock your self up. I know, I know, you just can't help it...............................can you.
