big napper 3,559 Posted May 26, 2017 Report Share Posted May 26, 2017 me and les went lamping last night with his .22 rifle on some of his permission, it was ok to start with but after an hour it got realy misty and we had trouble seeing more than 25 yards in front of us, we managed to get 12 in the bag but couldnt find another 3 or 4 others we shot in the long grass, most of the fields were high so we were limited to where we could go. cheers for another great nights shooting les. toxo 160 Posted June 3, 2017 Report Share Posted June 3, 2017 Well done. Shooting at night is bad enough without the mist. One time the image in the scope was getting worse and worse. I cleaned all the lenses including the Archer. I changed the batteries. Only then did I look up and found a sea of solid mist up to waist high. 2 Quote Link to post
