That fly fishing is not abit of me lads lol it's a free stretch I walk/jog the dogs down every morning and evening just take me little telescopic and a loaf of bread normally but they seem wise to it now. It's not stocked and most fish get chucked back. Seems abit shallow for a spinner I know nothing about flies or fly fishing the flies I'm using I found on the bank one day in a little grey box honestly couldn't tell you what they are lol

 

Come and get a fly fishing lesson, it's by far the "nicest" way of fishing. I'll do mates rates for ya .

If trout are your thing then you really should give it a try. The end reward is well worth it and don't believe the rubbish that they'll take other methods quicker than the fly.

Some times the fly is the best way to put a nice trout on the pan.

 

A mate dropped me in a 4 pounder Saturday evening that was taken on a nymph when everyone else was blanking.

Was with some friends Sunday morning and we ate it, washed down with cider, LOL.
