Earlier post:-

This one has me confused as I am certain it is a daylight only range finder BUT if it can be used with an IR torch, then it has to be the best value NV range finder on the market today by a long way. I am going to contact them for more information.

http://www.ebay.co.u...508&rk=1&rkt=1

I have sent 4 messages to these people asking if this unit will work in total darkness and does it respond to IR lighting.

The response each time is 'please read through the technical spec for all your answers'. Now despite me telling them that their description sounds to be a lie or that they do not understand what an NV range finder actually is but all I get back is the line above.

Fcuking tossers that have no idea what they are selling, needless to say, I will not be buying one to try out.

Agreed Jon.

I know bloody well it is not an NV unit but trying to get them to admit that was a non starter and I am not going to buy one and submit it to ebay for them to get my money back, as said fcuk em.

f**k 'em off Phil - if they can't even give you a decent answer, why bother mate

..... Besides, It's french, you know what their engineering is like

They'll be more expensive but, have a look at CRSUK

French engineering is second to none ! :nono:

The reverse gears of French vehicles is legendary :clapper:

Their tanks have 1 forward and 6 reverse and reverse gives 0 - 60 mph in 1 second !

" Ever seen the 2nd World War documentaries ?" :icon_redface::rofl:

The 1st world war French Tank went into battle backwards you know

Same as their RL teams - I`ve played against them and coached against them, so soft it`s untrue :icon_redface::bad:

Anyways,- range finders :whistling:

Agreed mate - range finders......

I've got a pretty good daytime one, It's stamped JSR. I'll post pictures if anyone's interested.

Or, for night time range finding, I can recommend the kit from CRSUK
