Browning 325 Advice

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a s/h Browning 325, and wondered if anyone can advise me how to find out if it's a steel rated gun?

Would the age give and indication? Or would there be a mark on the barrel indicating the testing pressure? Just asking as the seller lives quite far away and doesn't know either.

Many thanks Louis

I can't see that it wouldn't be ok for steel but there are a few which aren't.

Is it a multi choke ? with Browning if it uses invector or DS chokes then it is ok for steel apart from the full choke.
