Air Rifle Age

I don't really do air rifles but old bloke next door as given me a westlake air rifle. I know it's a cheap model but how do I age it as he can't remember how old it is but he reckons it's old. It just says westlake above the trigger where the scope goes.

Westlake is an SMK B2 custom, under another name I`ve read.

Chinese manufacture of 10 years ago "ish"

 

They make superb door stops and are worth more money melted down

It's not going to be for sale pal just going to smarten it up and give it him back. Says he can't hit anything with it so going to put a cheap scope onit and get rid of the marks onit.

It will be fun for a garden plinker if you are able to get it to stay on zero with the scope on if it is worth putting a scope on that is.

These are £40 brand new and about £20 second hand so keep that in mind before you spend money on it.

Everyone loves to hate them but I just got one to pay about with because of all the hype.

And it's fun to shoot that's all that matters.

Use kitchen foil to rub the rust off then put some oil on it.
