Some of you know I was well into taking photos of Barn Owls which suited me as they were in a meadow 2 mins away. They seem to have moved on to a spot I do not have access too so I took a trip to Kent where there were some sightings, but I have now come across Marsh Harriers. I would be OK but a 140 mile round trip each time?

I think you guessed right and it is worth £5 even for not going to the hides. Got a couple of other locations to try out soon not that far away.
