micky 3,325
,, There was a lot of these out yesterday so I picked a few for breakfast on the way home I called in a pub I deal with , they wanted 10 lb and when I arrived home one of their mates had been on the phone for another ten and a dozen rabbits [no shot] if I could get them . They like old sheep pastures and although they are quite large they are hard to see because where they grow in rings the grass in the ring grows six inches higher and much darker than the rest of the pasture, ...... You cannot go wrong picking them but if you are in any doubt split one and if it stays the same colour after a couple of minutes it is OK ,if it bleeds RED discard them
