Free When Done Lads

Recommended Posts

I am pleased to hear you are not going increase the power as it will be great for a child mate.

I had a look at the Ultra Junior at 6ft/lb when the BSA rep called in my RFD a few weeks ago and it got me thinking about a little gun for my grandson when he is old enough. Charlie is only 3 years old but is really desperate to shoot with his daddy and grandad.

The only guns I have seen that are really suited to a small child apart from the BSA above are a bit crappy with Co2 power and it would be nice to see a few decent guns for kids without being silly money.

Nice one Jimmy.

I had the chance to try one of those at Black Cat last week Phil - they're a fantastic little rifle - perfect for kids

If if had been 12ftlb, I would have bought one for my daughter straight away as a hunting rig

Depending if anyone is wanting one of these childrens guns, I would like to put my grandson's name, Charlie into the frame and although he is still too small for one, it would be lovely for him when he is old enough to use it.

I do NOT want to jump in if someone has already set their hearts on one for their child / grandchild though.

Thank you very much Jimmy, Charlie is going to be a very happy little fella.

I have the fishing gear for him at the ready and now he will have a gun to boot.

We will be keeping him active in the fresh air in a short while starting to learn about field sports. :boogy:

Cheers mate

Yes I will happily take it over to show Simon and I am sure he will make it sing. Once I have got it scoped up, zeroed and started to produce some decent groups, I will get in touch with him and have a drive over.

Nice idea Jimmy.
