Unique Carved Lurcher Antler Opinel No 12

Recommended Posts

28 craftsmen couldn't mount an opinel in antler.

It was a question rather than a statement.

To clarify i estimate / project manage for a building contractor. Their skilled labor-joiners, masons, decorators etc etc are reffed to as "craftsmen" for charge out rates.

I understand you now pal

what do you carve them with griff? a dremmel type thing or one of them proper carving machine things? (been thinking of getting one of them for while lol)

Yes that type of thing, think it is called a "rotozip" i use for roughing it out and a smaller no name 12v engraver for the detail. Use carbide burs in both. A small sharp wood chisel for fine detail.

Stunning workmanship. It's a funny old world: people will happily pay £200 for a special night out, yet crib at paying a master craftsman for the hours he has spent creating a unique and beautiful ... and useful ... item.

Tell you what mate. you make a small stainless blade non locking folder with an interesting handle for £100 or so and I`ll buy the first one. No questions or haggles, I`ll take it just to get the ball rolling. Hows that for a deal ? you provide and I``ll pay.

You have the talent and I`ll have the cash.

Opinel do stainless blades. Do you class them as non lockers?

Haven't been on here in a while and haven't been shooting in a while so I'm deciding so sell some gear and focus on other things.
Firstly is my BSA lightning tactical xl in .177 comes with hawke hd 3-9x40 scope, one piece mounts and a LED ray gl2 torch with flip up red filter and buffalo river case.
Only fault with the gun is the front sling swivel is missing.
I also have a mad dog growler jacket in APG size medium
A top gun skeet vest size medium
      British army Dpm smock medium-large
British army issue jungle boots size 11
Large jack pike shooting hold all
British army cam net unsure of size but large enough for a personal hide
I would like to see £130 for the rifle but I'm open to offers for everything together in a bundle
Collection only for the rifle but the other items I can post and take paypal payments
      I'm in Warminster Wiltshire
      Thanks
