So we did the A,S again with a lighter pellet acupell 14,23gr

 

and now she is running at 9,02ftp

 

and im happy at that thats all i need for the crows

 

but nothing a washer or two would not sort out lol

so a new spring will be needed and a new piston seal

 

ill get them some time this week and get her sorted

 

the tornado is the one on the right

they both dont like them

Right Jimmy, I understand now mate. I was going to say that I would be up for buying one of these guns if available but I just didn't quite realize what the project was. I must have missed some detail in an earlier post / thread.

By the way David iv not forgotten your tornado mate

 

i keep going back to her the stock has had that many coats of oil on her she is now getting to look like glass

 

iv taken the pellet port out and sorted that

 

sorted the under leaver out as well

 

and got onto chambers and the good news is she is a

 

SUPER TORNADO

 

AND SHOULD HAVE TWO SPRINGS IN HER ONE INSIDE THE OTHER

Well took the knackered one apart and look what i found in side David

 

same action as yours so will pop this in side once i get the piston seal

 

and see what she is putting out

 

the other tornado is fecked and the piston has seen better days

 

so i will salvage it for parts

Yep, that`s the rifle I shot with at just 14 yrs of age.

I shot a lot of vermin with the Relum

 

Should hover between 9.5 to 10.5 ft/lbs. in .22. I never saw a .177 in the Supers ?

The coils ran in opposite directions, - bit more power as a guess ? recoil dampener ?

If I remember rightly I swapped the larger spring for a Mercury spring and put the slimmer spring back in also.( or did I,- long time ago)

It was some thing Mark say,d to me about the one he had and two springs

 

so i went on chambers and found out this was a SUPER TORNADO

 

so got the diagram up and yes its got two springs one inside the other

 

the piston seal is going to be a pain as its held on with a rivet and i dont have a clue at the moment as to how im going to fit the new one .

 

Iv removed the old fecked one but the rivet is still in so may have to cut this out

 

ill send Charlie a few pics he may know how its done

 

this one has me baffled lol

 

but ill get there in the end

You can get a titan spring now Mark and you still put the thin spring in side the titan

 

now what power would that put out lol
