Well got stuck back into the tornado today david

 

the spring was knackered as some one had fitted a ox spring but had cut it to short

 

so it would not cock

 

so i put the hw35 spring in her that was left over from the refurb i did for belucky

 

but this has to come back out as its catching the cocking leaver but she shoots well considering she needs a new piston seal and a new spring lol

 

ill get the new spring and the piston seal and fit them for you

 

YES LADS THIS ONE IS GOING TO DAVID AS HE HAS HELPED ME AND LITTLE HUNTER OUT SO MUCH IN THE PAST AND IT WOULD BE NICE TO REPAY HIM FOR HIS KINDNESS

 

im going to strip the paint back off and try some different blueing for you as well

FINISH OILING THE STOCK

 

POLISH THE PISTON

 

REPLACE OLD SEALS

 

REPLACE OLD SPRING

 

POLISH TRIGGER SEARS

 

POLISH CHAMBER

 

PUT IT ALL BACK TOGETHER AND TEST FIRE IT

 

then pass it on to a very dear friend

This was my first ever air rifle and I have really a strong pull towards it, so to speak

So hear the deal , i will take it Mac , and it will get used no end , and I might even think I'm a kid again !

But only if you take my BSA mk 1 , in exchange for the tornado , do what you will with it , it's not as any where near to me as the tornado is

And I'm absolutely sure that the BSA. Will end up with a loving home

None are for sale thats the one thing i promised Barry (belucky)

 

i would ether donate them to Davyt63 or give them away

 

once they were refurbished

 

the relum tornado has had a cracked stock and is no good to donate

 

the A,S im keeping for my self some thing i discussed with Barry

 

the bsa cadet i gave to my mate the rfd as the cadet was his first rifle he ever owned and he is doing the refurb him self

 

iv not gained by any of the refurbs i do and i pay for the gear needed to do the refurbs my self

 

unless they need springs or seals then i get the lads to order them and send them to my addy

Relum Tornado was "the first" air rifle I ever owned too,- many a memory with that gun.

 

If I remember rightly Mac she had two mainsprings in her, one fitted inside the other,- or at least mine did ?

Not at the moment it wont

 

Just had her crono,d at the rfd,s and its only running at 3,9

 

so a new spring will be needed and a new piston seal

 

ill get them some time this week and get her sorted

 

the tornado is the one on the right

 

the A,S is on the left

 

both with jsb exact jumbos 15,89 gr

 

they both dont like them
