Happy Birthday To Mole, Soon!

Recommended Posts

Well nearly 48, Mary decided to buy me a .177 to replace the ones that had to go when things were tighter than a fishes backside! So what to buy? Well I was impressed by the BSamo Phox I got myself before Christmas, so we went BSamo again.

This time it is the Scorpion derived model, the Coyote. So without further ado, feast thine eyeballs on this little beauty!

I know it has a synthetic stock, but the wooden stock requires a hand the size of a gorilla's to make the span from pistol grip to trigger, the synthetic is much better designed, besides I have a wooden stocked Fenman.

Currently running at 11.32 ft lb with Daystate Heavies in 4.52mm flavour. With a silencer on the loudest thing is the hammer action! So folks I introduce you to Wile E. Coyote!

I know the scope is not brilliant, but we wanted to get something on so I could use it, 6-24 x 50 AO scope with the name Spike on it (OK so Spike was the Bulldog in Tom and Jerry)! But the glass is reasonably clear and it has a mildot reticle, should be OK until I can get an SR6!

Happy birthday and enjoy. Very similar to the BSA Ultra XL

Phil

BSA Ultra/Scorpion etc etc, all basically the same gun just the barrels are changed to protect the name....

They claim a shot count of about 100 in .177, going to have to put that to the test!
