stoggy 598 Posted March 7, 2017 Report Share Posted March 7, 2017 Met up with Stuart this morning to go ferreting as he had promised to get six rabbits for a chap who lives near him.We netted up the first hedgerow and got a couple of decent rabbits and two smaller ones.We moved to another hedgerow across the field and just shot a couple bolting them to the shotguns.The ferret just worked the hedgerow all the way down and we were not suprised that we did not get more as we have done this place twice and cleared a lot of rabbits.We then moved to another place and put out the longnet and purse nets and ended up with another three rabbits.So we had got our target and decided to call it a day in the middle of the afternoon as we had had a good day out. Total for the session was 9 rabbits and a couple had young in when gutted but all were nice and clean. We did the far hedge and ditch. Stuart carrying the rabbits back.
