Snares Buy Or Make Your Own ?

Was just wondering if you lot buy or make your own rabbit snares ?

Made all my own wasnt a problem if you had a couple of rigs made up for the tealers the snares are only six strands of 22 1/2 inches of brass wound round the eyelet them i gave them all to BHP on here when i had to fit a stop near the eye i figured it would be easier to start again rather than open them all up and fit another eyelet

you missed a trick there no need to fit an extra eye as a stop simply cut some 3/16th copper brake pipe into 1/4 inch lengths slide this over the tail end of the snare slide up untill you get to the desired lengtrh and crimp into position job done

Thanks, but between fitting stops and doing this course at the time i had enough and now im missing it . it was a great way to get clean rabbits out problem areas i couldnt ferret , but i wonder what lee did with 1000 snares i reckon he would bin them

I've had some off there before and am only after another 20 or so , but they've been out of stock for ages , it seams . Also gave Woodga a pm to see if he could help , but no answer yet; i know he's a busy man and patience is one virtue i do have. I'll get some from one or the other at some stage.

Now sorted got 20 snares 10 with tealers 10 without, 20 pegs .£32.50 posted

Gamekeeper in the village i help out just picked up a couple of dozen and brought them round. That'll get me sorted for now.
