I may be wrong I was a kid when I last saw one of them 20 odd years ago but the image is rooted in my brain, it did have yellow writing on top of the cyl. Lovely bit of nostalgia!

Never used a 35 in my life but from speaking to a guy on the range a couple of years ago he stripped a 35 and he said the pins drifted out with a punch but it came our one way easier than the other as one end was flattened more but never done it but thaught it's worth mentioning.

Indeed. It'll become a obsession.

Mrs Mac will be like.. "Mac, come bed, I'm wearing something sexy..."

Mac... "Get lost, I'm greasing my piston head and oiling this wood"

I would not knock the pins out mate, undo the screws and take the barrel off, watch out not to bend the two washers underneath.

I would agree with tomburras that the bsa is a cadet major. I have an old one that gets used for plinking in the garden.
