Snaring Lessons Learned

first snare first rabbit , there were two rabbit side by side here , the dog was laying down in front of them and i thought it be a good picture as i was getting the camera out one was away on its toes , three foot from thosewas an empty snare thanks to mr fox

at a distance i thought that this was fox worrying a snared rabbit but it was a snared hare

 

 

 

 

i took her from the wire and she took 15 minutes to recover and be on her way ,at the end of this field is a small paddock yesterday when i looked it was bouncing with rabbits and this morning i was expectingat least a couple but when i got there no rabbits and no snares.

Nice runs in the fields i miss the nice clean rabbits from snaring i just cant be arsed going on this course here

Look at the rabbits ears in the last pic. That is a young un. Half grown perhaps??? Glad the hare recovered Micky. Good work. Jok.

Idon.t mind anyone taking a rabbit because i have done it myself but taking the tackle pissed me off , i had to log it at the estate office and i like to keep a low profile , win some lose some .
