Recommended Posts

Hiya, firstly I have a bull greyhound at 27tts. We have a family home including cats and rabbits so she isnt a hunter, we put a racing whippet over her two days ago so im hoping for some nice pups :) if she is or isnt in pup id like to know how to get into racing, im not sure if ts too late for her being two, and by the time shes whelped she'll be thre.. but if I can get guidance on how to start racing I may keep back one of her pups for a hobby.. sorry if I cant ask about racing here. Theres that many forums topics and posts here I have no idea where to start

Thanks :)

Hello and welcome mate , the easiest way would be go to a show pay your pound and try her on the lure . , or get a bike take the tyre off the back wheel get 100 yards off twine and try to jack it up and get somebody to peddle it and see if she will chase the lure usualy a bit of rag

they be loads of country shows and game fairs coming up over the summer and most will have racing of some sort going on. just keep an eye out for them, or build yourself a lure machine? I made one out of a strimmer last year for mine lol

I dont know where to go to pay for her to run, I tried googling but couldn't find anything

Any country show , game fair should have terrier racing and at the end they open it up to any dog any whippet clubs in your area they might have racing ?.
