Good Last Day Of Season.

Had me last day out off season today. done a big hedgerow local to me. Arived first light watched 10+ rabbits hopping about outside nice sized warren. Thort we was in for a good day. Done this one first just incase took a while. Must off been about 60+ holes. Got long net set on one side (slowly getting the hang off it. Thanks again jok) then netted about 20 holes and left rest for dog. 2 big hobbs enterd, bolted 5 into nets 2 to dogs and 1 dig. First 8 good start.

 

First warren.

 

Should off had more i think. Moved on to a couple off small ones and ended the day on 11. Not to bad for 3 hours.

 

10 out off the 11 had young inside so thats me done for this season.

Is that good or bad thing?

About a month ago we had seven out of seven so tried a different permission about four mile away and there were none, seems strange some times some areas a head of others. Theres no difference in height, went some where today there were half grown ones running across the lane before we started. So thats the end on that permission. Will try again where there was none, there were good numbers there and the guy wants them gone. But the season nearly over.

Thanks. Dont no an awfull lot about whats good and bad in a dog yet. Only been keeping them for 3 years and still learning.

If its doing its job its a good dog wether it has long legs, short legs, one eye, undershot or whatever. A good dog is never a bad cross either.
