mattyg 1,862 Posted February 14, 2017 Report Share Posted February 14, 2017 Just been quoted £300 for a front left outside toe on one of my dogs, the toe keeps popping out and is becoming a bloody nuisance, but thought £300 was a bit steep, any thoughts? Dinosaurs 2,007 Posted February 14, 2017 Report Share Posted February 14, 2017 one of mine had to have a toe amputated 2 years ago front foot equivalent to our ring finger got done for £200 but had quotes as high as £500 ?? Ffs. I went to a vets for pets where a quality vet did locom work. They reckon she got paid more than they charged coz they hope to sell you loads of add ons. Other vets I've called all wanna sign me up and get me in for consultations even when I've told em exact cause. £300 is £300 but no harm in at least shopping around a bit.
